Our Goals and Purposes

The Southwest Anglers promotes sport fishing in southwestern
North Dakota, based on the following principles:
To encourage the exchange of fishing information between Club Members.
To provide educational opportunities in fishing techniques to Club
members and non-members.
To help educate the public and assist agencies to fight pollution
of the State's waters.
To operate as a non-profit, public service organization.
Promote fund raising activities, such as the annual sport show in
April and raffles, for the improvement of area lakes.
Promote conservation efforts to sportsmen and youth, through communication,
seminars and awareness activities.
Membership Benefits
The annual dues of $10.00 per person gets you:
Monthly Newsletter: The clubs newsletter is published once
a month to keep the members informed of upcoming events, fishing
reports, fishing tips, fishing stories want ads, recipes, and much
more.
Monthly Meetings: Once a month the club meets to talk about
fishing and projects in southwestern North Dakota. Usually several
door prizes are given away at each meeting..
Discounts: Discounts at area merchants and local resorts.

Participation in annual ruff fish removal from area lakes.
Fund raising events for area lake improvements.
Annual Walleye tournament.(2nd WEEKEND IN JULY)
Youth Activites.
Charitable donations to outdoor events.
The Club has installed handicap accessable docks on Patterson Lake
and on other areas.
